Hypocrite's Oath: When the Chief Physician on the Net Swaps the Scalpel for Human Dignity#
There are cases of cognitive dissonance where you have to rub your eyes in disbelief. And then there are abysses that are so deep, dark and grotesque that even the term "serious professional misconduct" seems like a trivialization. Curtain up for Dr. med. Ronald Siems: Specialist in anaesthesiology, expert in chirotherapy, special pain therapy and palliative medicine. Until recently, this gentleman also held the renowned office of senior physician and chief transplant officer at the traditional University Medical Center Rostock (UMR).
In an enlightened society, one should actually be able to assume that someone who, in terms of professional ethics, is committed to relieving unbearable pain, saving lives and accompanying the dying, has a minimum of basic humanistic decency. Anyone who acts as a demigod in white during the day in the operating room and in the intensive care unit is generally trusted to know the difference between medical care and fascist ideology of extermination. But far from it: While Dr. Siems personified empathy at the patient's bedside, he privately indulged a completely unrestrained passion in the anti-social networks – the shameless dissemination of bare, undisguised human hatred in the finest vocabulary of the Nazi regime.
Dr. Siem's Digital Slaughterhouse#
The researchers of the initiative "Hooligans Against Sentence Building" (hogesatzbau) were probably surprised when they meticulously secured and undoubtedly verified the online activities of the top physician. What the senior doctor hammered into the comment columns under clear names or clear profiles were not unsuccessful regulars jokes or hot slips. It was the ice-cold, methodical script of an inhuman reign of terror that freezes the blood in the veins of every normal citizen:
Killing and extermination fantasies: slogans such as "Remigrate or cremate" flowed from the keyboard of the top physician with frightening obviousness. Anyone who does not fit into the racist worldview is fed directly into the incineration plant.
Systematic dehumanization: Those seeking protection and people with a migration history were unceremoniously degraded to "heating mass that can solve our energy problem!", directly flanked by the unmistakable threat: "Remigrate or camp".
Call for extrajudicial execution: According to Dr. Siems, it is best to save on procedural costs in legal proceedings: "Finaler Rettungsschuss und gut. Get rid of that and save a lot of money."
Legal gunnarrenty: The doctor bluntly advised to "carry a protective weapon and use it if necessary" even without a gun license – the potential criminal liability for illegal gun ownership was simply "doesn't matter".
Anaesthesia with a longing for death: The absolute nightmare at the operating table#
You have to let this toxic melange of power and delusion of destruction melt on your tongue. We are not talking about an anonymous troll from the darkest basements of the Internet, but about a man who decided on the dosage of anaesthetics as a senior physician. A man who, as a palliative care physician, was supposed to assist dying people in their most vulnerable hours is raving online about the burning of individuals.
The matter becomes even scarier in his function as chief transplant officer: a doctor who sat in the forefront at the interfaces of organ donation, allocation and life-saving describes living people in his spare time as mere "heating mass" for camps. The idea that a seriously ill patient lies helpless on the operating table while a doctor leans over him, fantasizing about selection and extrajudicial executions in his spare time, is pure horror. The Hippocratic oath was not only broken here – it was trampled with jumping boots and burned digitally.
The emergency brake in Rostock: When the hospital management pulls the plug#
After the brown social media cesspool sloshed into the foyer of the University Medical Center Rostock with full force thanks to public documentation, the hospital management had no choice but to flash the emergency stop switch. The threat of reputational damage was too great, and the real danger to the clinic was too unbearable:
1. Immediate expulsion: Dr. Siems was released from all surgical, medical and administrative duties at the University Hospital with immediate effect.
2. Digital extinction: Within hours, all traces, photos, publications and contact details of the physician disappeared from the clinic's servers and websites.
3. Public distancing: The UMR took an unequivocal position and emphasized that such statements "fundamentally contradict the values that our house and our employees stand for: humanity, respect, responsibility and the protection of life."
4. Legal repercussions: In addition to the dismissal under employment law, the hospital management is currently examining comprehensive legal action against the former senior physician.
Conclusion: The bourgeois face of fascism#
It goes without saying that investigating authorities and lawyers here have to examine the facts of the incitement to hatred (§ 130 StGB) with full steam ahead. But Siem's case is more than just bizarre personalities. It is a brutal wake-up call for the whole of society. He exposes the convenient misconception that right-wing extremism and extermination fantasies are an exclusive problem of uneducated fringe groups or bald-headed thugs.
Modern extremism wears made-to-measure shirts, doctorates, and white coats. He sits on the board of chief physicians, lectures at universities, enjoys a high social reputation and manages the lives and deaths of fellow human beings. Dr. Siems has long since morally destroyed his license to practice medicine. Anyone who wants to care for patients while dreaming in the network of camps and crematoria does not belong in a hospital – but in a criminal court and permanently isolated from humanity. Well done to all who have ever had to call this hypocrite their doctor.
